Why Create Cancer Walk & Talks?
When I heard the words “incurable cancer,” everything stopped.
When faced with the choice of surrender or fight, I chose the path of courage. My decision to fight against cancer was not just for myself, but for anyone who has ever been confronted with life-altering challenges.
With this in mind, I created Cancer Walk & Talks: a series of short videos that chronicle my battle with cancer and offer insights on life and resilience. They are not listed by priority or importance. I listed them as thoughts occurred. These genuine, encouraging, and, at times, humorous videos build optimism, help manage emotions, and foster resilience in the face of adversity. They serve as a beacon of optimism, demonstrating the strength of hope and resilience.
I will begin to post new Walk & Talks regularly. Feel free to share this first set with anyone who might find it helpful. Also, don’t hesitate to offer thoughts and suggestions for future topics. Our combined efforts can cultivate a community of support, encouragement, and understanding.
