After an exemplary 30-year career in the Navy, Jeffrey found himself leading an aggressive personal war against his rare form of cancer, Primary Plasma Cell Leukemia. As a Master Caregiver who had to learn on the job, Shannon has seen him through many death-defying moments, hours, days, months, and years.
Now, they are leaders in advocacy for cancer research.

Shannon graduated with a B.S. in psychology. Subsequently, she progressed in the legal profession from being a legal secretary to a paralegal and, ultimately, as an office manager. However, she prefers to concentrate on more recent history involving the heroic fight for her husband’s life and what they can do to enhance and preserve the health of everyone in the family, as she has become the primary caregiver for all three people living in their home!
She has a lot of wisdom to impart, based on grueling experiences, and her husband gives her credit – along with stem cell research and faith in God – for his being alive and fully functional today.
Shannon has Another Great Talent!
It is More Esoteric.
She has an artist’s eye for selecting and placing decor items elegantly throughout any space. She is not just adept at staging but has expanded that expertise to create tablescapes for meals and events as high art. Realtors, caterers, and event planners find her to be a treasure!
